Satanic Delays

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Throughout scripture we see the stratagem and weaponry of satanic delays used against God’s people. While God is the creator of time, Satan tries to manipulate time through delays. In the wilderness the children of Israel experience satanic delays, causing them to continually repeat the same cycles of defeat, frustration, and distraction with many of them never reaching the promise land. The use of this attack was to affect the future of the children of Israel putting them in a holding pattern and a season of uncertainty. Their disobedience to God, worshiping false gods, and the lack of faith during this time allowed their delay to continue.

Satanic delays are used to attack our miracles, the promises, and destiny God has for us. Satan uses this methodology by means of a barrage of interruptions, discouragement and confusion very cunningly so that his intended victim doesn’t recognize the evil handwork in motion. Scripture tells us that our people perish for a lack of knowledge (Hos. 4:6). It is important that we recognize and pray accordingly.

The five foolish virgins were deemed foolish; because of their lack of preparation their door of destiny was closed forever. The question is why were they not prepared? Could it have been a satanic delay in the form of stagnation?

We can see where some delays come through generational curses and need to be broken off our lives. Other delays come as a result of the fruit of our lips or word curses spoken over our lives. All require actions either; humbling ourselves, aggressive prayer, repentance, spiritual warfare, preparation, and God’s divine intervention as it was with Daniel.

Daniel was greatly duress about the vision he received regarding his people and prayed for God to give him understanding for the vision. For twenty one days Daniel prayed, fasted, and cried out to the Lord. Then he said to me, “Fear not Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words. Gabriel’s assignment commenced on the first day, however we can see that according to scripture the prince of Persia too had an assignment called “Satanic Delay”. The appointed time for Daniel’s prayer to be answered was the first day however because of the contention in heaven, Daniels answered prayer was delayed. Daniel’s actions were to continue to wait on the Lord and be of good courage. The scripture states that for twenty-one days Daniel prayed and fasted. The number twenty-one (3×7) three denoting divine perfection and seven denoting spiritual perfection resulted in spiritual excellence. So even it the midst of his season of delay, all things still worked together for Daniels good.

We can not be ignorant to the devices of the enemy. We must recognize if a satanic delay is in operation to hold us back and aggressively pray against it. When you are convinced that the delay is not from God and from the enemy, then dismantle Satan’s overt operation against you through fasting and prayer, praise and worship, and decreeing the will of God over each and every life situation. Refuse to lose to satanic delays!
